VENERABLE GESHE KELSANG GYATSO
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, or Geshe-la as he is affectionately called by his students, is the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union.
Since coming to the West in 1977 he has established over 1000 centres and groups world wide and has written 21 highly acclaimed books which transmit the complete Buddhist path in a way that is entirely accessible and applicable to modern life.
In all his activities he shows a perfect example of compassion and wisdom combined with simplicity and humility.

GEN-LA DEKYONG
Gen-la Dekyong is the General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition and the Principal Resident Teacher at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre in Cumbria. She is a highly experienced modern Buddhist Teacher who has taught at many centres internationally..

GEN KELSANG CHONYI
Gen Kelsang Chönyi has been ordained since 2002 and is Geshe Kelsang’s representative in Exeter. She has a deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings which she explains with lightness and gentle humour.
