Foundation Programme studying 'How to Understand the Mind'

Wednesday evenings 7-9pm @ Pure Land Buddhist Centre with Kelsang Chonyi
  • This is an enrolled course, ideal for those who have already attended some of our other classes and who wish to take the next step. The Foundation Programme provides a systematic presentation of particular subjects of Mahayana Buddhism and is a wonderful way to deepen your knowledge and practical experience of Buddhism.
  • We are currently studying the profound text ‘How to Understand the Mind’ by Geshe Kelsang. FP classes are £35 a month which also includes entry to all our drop-in classes and most other events. Concessions are available.
  • Please contact us if you are interested in joining or if you would like to arrange to try out a session (no charge and no commitment) before deciding if it’s for you.
  • Be inspired  Click here to read a transcript of a talk given by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso on the benefits of this study programme

“It is very important to identify the actual cause of whatever unhappiness we feel. If we are forever blaming our difficulties on others, this is a sure sign that there are still many problems and faults within our own mind.”
